Who is Eligible?
If you’re a graduating Grade 12 student in the academic year 2023-2024, you may be eligible for the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarships. Here are the criteria:
STEM Strand Students:
- All students in the STEM class.
Non-STEM Strand Students:
- Must be in the top 5% of the graduating class.
Additional Criteria:
- Graduates of Grade 12 before SY 2023-2024, who have not yet enrolled in college, must meet the above criteria.
- Graduates of high school before the K-12 Program must belong to the top 5% of the graduating class.
- Must be a natural-born Filipino citizen.
- Must demonstrate good moral character and be in good health.
- May have taken the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship Examination but did not qualify, or may have qualified but did not avail of the award, or have not taken the examination at all.
- Must NOT have earned any post-secondary (college or vocational) units.
Application Timeline:
- Start of Online Application Period: 17 October 2023
- Last Day of Request for School Inclusion in the E-Application System: 15 December 2023
- Last Day of Online Application and Uploading of Requirements: 31 December 2023
- Schedule of Qualifying Examination: 6-7 April 2024

- The scholarship award is effective for the First Semester of AY 2024-2025.
