PNLE February 2027 Schedule: Nurse Board Exam Dates, Filing Period, Requirements, and Why There’s No More November NLE

PNLE February 2027 Schedule: Nurse Licensure Exam now held in February and August – expected dates, LERIS filing, requirements

Last updated: October 9, 2026

Quick answer: When is the PNLE February 2027?

PRC has not yet released the official 2027 exam calendar. Since 2026, the Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination (PNLE) has been held in February and August, not the old May and November schedule. In 2026 the first exam was on February 26–27. Filing opened on November 28, 2025 and closed on January 27, 2026.

If 2027 follows the same pattern, expect the exam in late February 2027, with LERIS filing opening around late November 2026. That means you should get your documents ready now. PRC usually releases the next year’s calendar in mid-November, and we will update this page with the official dates.

Graduating this school year, or planning to retake? This guide covers the PNLE’s new February/August schedule, the expected February 2027 timeline, requirements, the five subjects, the passing rule and the latest results.

What Changed: No More November NLE

For years, the nursing board exam was held in May/June and November. Under PRC Resolution No. 2113, s. 2025, the PRC’s 2026 calendar moved the exam to February and August:

2026 cycle Exam dates Filing opened Filing deadline Results target
February 2026 February 26–27, 2026 (Thu–Fri) November 28, 2025 January 27, 2026 March 19, 2026
August 2026 August 29–30, 2026 (Sat–Sun)* May 15, 2026 July 15, 2026 Released September 18, 2026

*Because of the number of examinees, the August 2026 PNLE was held over two batches: August 29–30 and September 10–12, 2026.

So if you’ve been searching for “NLE November 2026,” there wasn’t one. The next PNLE is the February 2027 cycle.
