The NAPOLCOM exam is this Sunday, October 18, 2026
The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) will hold the PNP Entrance Examination (PNPEE) and Promotional Examinations (PROMEX) on Sunday, October 18, 2026, according to its official website. Some older guides, including an earlier version of ours, listed October 25. The official date is October 18.
If you registered during the August 17–21 online window and finished your application processing, you have only a few days left. This guide covers what you need for the final stretch: what the exam covers, the passing mark, what to bring, how to confirm your venue, and a realistic 4-day review plan.

How to Confirm Your Testing Venue
- Log in to the NAPOLCOM Online Scheduling System at napolcom-noss.org, or through napolcom.gov.ph, and check your application status and examination details.
- Check your NAPOLCOM Regional Office’s official Facebook page. Regional offices post school assignments and reminders for their testing sites.
- Problems with your registration? NAPOLCOM’s ITMD-PRS hotline is (02) 8899-9074, or email itmd.prs@napolcom.gov.ph. For exam-related questions, email exam.pas@napolcom.gov.ph. Have your full name, address, contact number and email ready.
- Do a dry run. Find your school and the right gate on Saturday, October 17, so you’re not searching for them on exam morning.
What to Bring on October 18
- Your NAPOLCOM examination permit or notice, plus anything else your regional office lists
- A valid government-issued ID
- No. 2 pencils, an eraser and a sharpener, plus a black ballpoint pen
- Water and a light snack for after the exam
Leave at home or switch off: phones, smartwatches, calculators, notes and reviewers. Follow the exact list of prohibited items in your permit or your regional office’s announcement. Cheating can permanently bar you from NAPOLCOM exams.
Final 4-Day Review Plan

Exam-Day Reminders
- Arrive early. Testing usually starts in the morning, and latecomers may not be admitted. Aim to be at the gate at least an hour before the start time on your permit.
- Answer every item. Multiple-choice exams like this one generally don’t penalize wrong answers, so never leave an item blank.
- Don’t get stuck. Skip long math items and come back to them. Easy General Information items are worth the same.
- Shade carefully. Fill each circle completely, erase cleanly, and check that your item numbers match.
After the Exam: Results and Next Steps
NAPOLCOM has not announced a release date for the October 2026 results. For the October 2025 exam, results came out about two months later. For the April 19, 2026 exam, the list of successful examinees was posted on napolcom.gov.ph. Expect the October list there too, and treat any earlier “results” circulating on social media with caution.
Passing the PNPEE gives you police eligibility, not automatic employment. You still need to apply and qualify in a PNP recruitment cycle, which has its own requirements and tests. Curious about the career? See How Much Do Police Officers Earn in the Philippines (2027).
