Application Period: October 25 – November 24, 2023 (12 noon)

For aspiring students who wish to join IDS’s Junior High School, here are the qualifications you need to meet:

Qualifications:

  1. Be a bonafide graduating Grade 6 student.
  2. Have no earned units in Junior High School.
  3. Maintain a minimum final grade of 85% in Science, Math, and English.
  4. No grade below 80% in all subjects in Grades 5-6.
  5. Attain a general average grade in Grade 5 of 87% or better.

These qualifications reflect our commitment to nurturing bright and dedicated young minds.

Application Requirements:

To complete your application, ensure you have the following documents ready:

  1. Duly accomplished Application Form.
  2. Good Moral Certificate.
  3. Certified True Copy of Form 137.
  4. A non-refundable Application Fee of Php 250.00 (to be paid at the MSU-IIT Cashier).
  5. Certificate of Enrolment or Photocopy of a Valid School ID.
  6. Two pieces of 2×2 ID Pictures with a plain white background.
  7. Certificate of Employment (for MSU-IIT employee dependents).
  8. Certificate of Membership in any Philippine Indigenous Group (if applicable).
  9. Certificate of Indigency or Low Income (if applicable).
  10. One long brown envelope.

Submit all your application requirements at the IDS Principal’s Office on or before November 24, 2023 (until 12 NN only).

IDS General Admission Guidelines

The admission process for incoming Grade 7 students, for the school year 2024-2025, consists of two stages:

1. First Screening: Admission Test Score

  • The first screening will be based on the Admission Test Score. IDS aims to select students with strong academic potential, ensuring that they are well-prepared for the challenges of Junior High School.

2. Second Screening: One-on-One Interview

  • The second screening will involve a one-on-one interview, allowing IDS to assess not only academic capability but also the potential for personal and social growth.
